Komacel Foam PVC
Komacel is an integral skin foamed sheet. Its advantage is based on the combination of a firm and massive covering layer with a cellular core manufactured in one production process with the same material. Light in weight but still solid and strong it offers a wide range of applications. Utilising almost 25 years of experience in the Celuka extrusion process Komacel is a worldwide number one and offers many solutions for a range of markets.
Properties
Komacel is free of any environmental and health risks as the sheet contains no barium, cadmium and no lead. Komacel is a fine celled foam structure with a firm and smooth outer skin with a silk smooth gloss finish for excellent printability. Its low thermal conductivity make it an ideal insulator. Komacel can be bonded using appropriate bonding methods.
Komacel is resistant to chemical substances and is non-corroding according to
DIN 8061,Bbl.1. It can be used for the food industry and has a very low water absorption rate. It is rated as low flammability according to DIN 4102-B1. Weatherproof and light fast.
Uses / Applications
Advertising - Interior and exterior signs, displays, letters and exhibitions.
Shop fittings, linings in wet areas, heat and sound insulation, cladding, window surrounds and door panels.

Field Ltd carry Komacel in white only in a sheet size of 2440 x 1220mm & 3050×1560mm and in gauges of 6mm, 10mm, 13mm, 19mm, 24mm & 30mm
